A highly motivated and experienced individual is sought to join the Fugro GEOS project management team. Fugro GEOS is one of the world’s leading metocean companies and operates on a world-wide basis. This role would suit an individual with either a metocean or marine survey background. You would report to the Operations Manager and this would primarily be a shore based role with opportunity for occasional offshore work.
The responsibilities will include the management of a number of oceanographic projects including coastal and deep-water moorings, meteorological measurements and rig based work and will require frequent dialogue with a number of specialist staff within key client organisations. A background in underwater survey instrumentation and vessel or rig operations would be desirable. The successful candidate will show a goodunderstanding of project and commercial management techniques, will demonstrate an ability to meet demanding deadlines and adhere to high standards of presentation and attention to detail. Applicants will also need to demonstrate competency in HSE issues as well as having good interpersonal and leadership skills.
