The successful candidate will have a good understanding of field techniques for recording wave, current, meteorological and other metocean sensors, and will have proven ability in quality control and processing to final reporting standard.
Applicants should hold first degree or postgraduate qualifications in a relevant science, and will be highly numerate with programming skills, ideally in Matlab and C++. As this position involves authoring and presentation of technical reports, the successful candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Reporting to the Metocean Business Manager, the post holder will be responsible for data delivery of Gardline’s metocean projects worldwide, and presents opportunities to further develop the division’s capabilities in modelling and online data delivery systems.
