Postdoctoral fellow in ocean carbon cycle modelling

A position as postdoctoral fellow in climate modelling is available (under usual reserve of available funding) at the Geophysical Institute in association with the Bjerknes Centre for Climate Research.

The postdoctoral position is a fixed-term post, the chief objective being to qualify the selected candidate for work in senior positions in their disciplines. The term of employment for this position is 3 years. It is not possible for any person to work under more than one temporary appointment as postdoctoral fellow for the same institution. Associate Research Fellow, Marine Renewable Energy

The successful applicant will join a strong research group in marine renewables with extensive physical and computational facilities and excellent support staff. The group works across the University and is part of the Peninsula Research Institute for Marine Renewable Energy (PRIMaRE, www.primare.org). There are close links with the Wave Hub project, a ground breaking initiative to deploy small wave arrays off the North Cornwall coast and device developers which are at the forefront of wave energy commercialisation.
